Our Inspiration: A Call to Action
Our journey began from the stark reality that many sporting fans, particularly those from Black and socially marginalised ethnic groups, continue to experience racism and discrimination at events. This project specifically targets those affected, aiming to transform the sporting experience for everyone. We believe a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment is a fundamental right for all who love sport.

At Black Fans United, our core mission is to combat racism in sports and champion social equality for every fan. We aim to raise awareness of racism's pervasive impact, foster diversity and inclusion, provide crucial support and advocacy for those affected, and develop robust strategies to address and prevent discrimination across all sporting events in the UK.
Our Commitment to Making a Difference
To achieve our ambitious goals, we're actively developing impactful awareness campaigns, providing comprehensive training for sporting venues and their staff on incident prevention and response, and implementing a confidential reporting system, including a hotline and online platform. We also offer legal support, counselling, and community advocacy for victims, alongside collaborating with sports organisations, government agencies, and community groups to shape progressive policies for diversity and inclusion.
